Baby Bottle Campaign
Catholic Charities annual Baby Bottle Campaign directly helps pregnant women and women with babies choose adoption or parenting rather than abortion right here in Southern Minnesota.
The Baby Bottle Campaign is a perfect community service project and provides students, churches, individuals and families a chance to offer a real response to women choosing life over abortion. Baby bottles are taken home and filled with donations through the month of October.
The money collected through the Baby Bottle Campaign goes into Catholic Charities’ Mother and Child Assistance Fund, which is used to help pregnant women and women with babies receive assistance for rent, utilities, medical care, educational assistance, child care assistance, parenting education and more after working with one of Catholic Charities’ Pregnancy, Parenting, and Adoption Social Workers.
“This grant will help me get back on my feet to not only get by, but to actually plan for my child so that he can have everything he is going to need when he is born”. – Sidney
We will continue this Diocesan Respect Life Project with a kick off on Respect Life Sunday, October 7, 2018. Our 2017 Campaign raised over $52,000 and the proceeds all benefitted women and their babies here in Southern Minnesota. If you would like to participate or coordinate the Campaign at your school, church, or other group, email Sarah Vetter or call 507-287-2047 X32. Bottles and campaign materials are provided free of charge to all participants.
