Volunteering at the RCWC

Rochester Community Warming Center Volunteers

At the heart of the RCWC is the affirmation of human dignity. We believe volunteers bring a sense of community to the Center that cannot be replaced. Volunteer opportunities vary from serving soups and coffee during the intake period and helping with wake up and hygiene to one time large group service projects. We currently have 4 different daily volunteer shifts; 7:30pm-10pm, 7:30pm-2am, 2am-8:30am, or 6am-8:30am.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding volunteering or our program as a whole, please reach out to Rudy Naul at or (507)458-1223.

Because the RCWC serves a vulnerable adult population, all volunteers will need to pass a background check in order to serve our guests.
