Grocery Group Volunteer: purchase groceries for a newly arriving refugee family (no background check required) – rotating list of volunteers taking turns purchasing food items

ESL Tutoring: in-home basic/conversational English tutoring

Driving Coach: assist in providing behind the wheel driving practice (refugees will have driver’s permit in order to participate)

Assisting with Move-in/Apartment Set-up: assist resettlement staff furnish apartments for new refugee arrivals (no background check required)

Assisting with Transportation: assist getting refugees to/from important medical appointments

Community Sponsorship (CS) Volunteer: group activity, 5+ volunteer team paired with family

Transportation: When working with a family you may find that you are transporting them to various places, please note that if you are providing transportation you will need to provide your driver’s license and car insurance information to the office.
